Next Wine Tasting Dinner set for Nov. 14th

Friends of Sol Del Sur Bistro:

Our next Wine Tasting Dinner is set for Saturday, November 14th, at 7:15pm.

We had to move to the middle of the month to avoid Halloween weekend, and we will keep the events in the middle of the month for a while to stay clear of Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The theme for this event will be Italian Wines and Italian Tapas, or Cicchetti as they are known in Venice.

The wines we will be pouring for the event are all sensational, as usual:

Casalnova Prosecco  (sparkling, Prosecco grape)

La Tunella Rjgialla  (white, Ribolla Gialla grape)

La Tunella Refosco (red, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso grape)

Paternoster Synthesi  (red, Aglianico del Vulture grape)

La Tunella Verduzzo  (white dessert wine, Verduzzo Friulano grape)

 

I think we will have some great flavors paired with these excellent wines.  I should have the paired tasting menu done and posted in a day or so.  So keep an eye out for that!

The last few events have sold out, so be sure to reserve a spot early!
